MULTIMEDIA PROGRAMMES
Interactive programmes
Interactive programmes, in the form of computer kiosks with touch screens, have become established components of the exhibition halls on the main viewing route of the permanent exhibition. They enrich and expand the basic features of the exhibition and offer visitors a wealth of background information about the various historical periods, the architectural development of the castle complex and the most important exhibition pieces.

The animated representations of Prague Castle in the different periods, overlapped with the current form of the castle, will certainly be of interest to visitors. This visualisation merges into axonometry and the ground plans. Dynamic components include rotations and tours of the inner areas of the complex along set routes. Descriptions are provided for important buildings. Detailed information about select exhibition pieces are supplemented by accounts of the context of the period - a selection of the major events from each stage in the history of Europe, the Bohemian lands and Prague Castle.
