On Saturday, November 6, The Story of Prague Castle, which opened on April 5, 2004, welcomed its one hundred thousandth visitor. Ivona Mandulova with her family from Prague was greeted by the director of Prague Castle Administration, ing. Jiří Franc, who presented her with a complimentary ticket, an invitation to a special tour and a copy of the book The Story of Prague Castle. To see photos go to photogallery.

Due to the state anniversary, the exhibition The Story of Prague Castle will be closed on the 28 October. Because of the preparations of the ceremony in Old Royal Palace, the film Prague Castle through the Ages will not be projected betweën 27 and 29 October. We apologize for any inconvenience.

The opening time will be extended for two hours on Thursdays in September as well as in August. The exhibition shall therefore close at 7 p.m., in other days at 5 p.m.

The film Prague Castle through the Ages will be projected 30.7.2004 at 2.30 p.m. in Hvězda cinema in Uherské Hradiště as part of the summer film school.

The film Prague Castle Through the Ages will be projected on the 4th of July 2004 at 11 a.m. in hall A of Karlovy Vary Thermal Hotel. The screening is scheduled in the accompanying programme of the 39th International Film Festival.

It is now possible to place an order for a large number of tickets with an extended validity. This may be convenient for companies and organisations wanting to order them for their employees or for travel agencies for their clients. Such tickets are valid for two months and it is possible to use them at any time in the stated dates, but always for one entrance only. Order tickets here.

The staff of the permanent exhibition "The Story of Prague Castle" welcomed their ten-thousandth visitor not even three weeks after the ceremonial opening. Martin Smejkal from Prague came to the exhibition with his wife and two children on Sunday afternoon (picture).
